Puppy Not Guppy <---click to go to the auction!

What does ever self respecting mermaid need?
Why a guppy...I mean puppy of course!
This little fella is looking shyly around searching
for some sweet mermaid to come adopt him.
His sweet face seems to say "Are you my mother?"

This adorable fellow started out as a painting
for the EBSQ "Spam & Trout" show,
but sadly he languished in my studio
without ever being finished.

I was rummaging around in there looking for
extra canvas when I saw his plaintiff little eyes
staring out at me from behind a larger canvas.
WHO could resist that sad little face.
He was immediately dug out and revamped for
this Months Nibblefest Show
"Combining 2 or more animals to form one"

This is an ORIGINAL low brow,outsider painting
not a print of a copy. It will arrive unframed,
however I highly recommend framing this piece.

cigarettes and chocolate milk
these are just a couple of my cravings
everything it seems i like's a little bit stronger
a little bit thicker
a little bit harmful for me

if i should buy jellybeans
have to eat them all in just one sitting

a little bit fatter

and then there's those other things
which for several reasons we won't mention
everything about them is a little bit stranger

a little bit deadly

it isn't very smart
tends to make one part so broken-hearted

sitting here remembering me

go ahead, accuse me of just singing about places
with scrappy boys faces
have general run of the town
playing with prodigal songs
takes a lot of sentimental valiums
can't expect the world to be your raggedy andy
while running on empty
you little old doll with a frown

you got to keep in the game
maintaining mystique while facing forward
i suggest a reading of 'a lesson in tightropes'
or 'surfing your high hopes' or 'adios kansas'

it isn't very smart

holes or a friendly intervention

still a lot to do on this yet, obviously inspired by y trip. I want that deep delta art feeling. the faux frame is gold foil, but I think I may need to do more of that to get the feeling I want. I need more gold foil.

sigh...still don't know if it's broken but they are worried if it is, and we don't put it in a cast something might shift ... then were looking at surgery. It's light blue and florescent pink and she can swim in it...
"When I was a kid casts were white and heavy and itchy , and that's they way we liked it" ;)

got her name on the TIB, and my Candy Carnival is in desperate need of a name. sigh Actually I have a number of girls who need names, but I worry about the non stock ones first ... why? who knows.

Anyway sugestions???

Tallulah Tuesday and I traded my 2nd Cinnamon girl for her Candy carnival. This was the fastest trade on record once I finally stopped waffling and made the decision. We sent them overseas and they each reached the new mommy within one day of each other!

Sometimes I swear it’s faster to ship to the UK than the states!

Grier got to open the package, She's bugging me to find a name for her RIGHT AWAY!!!!!
